This week I had the opportunity to nourish the talent, crew and viewers of the WCSH 6 and WLBZ 2 Morning Report. I LOVE this gig. It’s so much fun. It’s a bit scary at times, but it aligns me with my purpose, so I work through the discomfort and keep moving.
I served up Grapefruit and Rosemary Infused Water and Roasted Root Veggies with Brussle Sprouts.
We talked about ways to infuse your New Year’s Resolutions and discussed all the buzz words like “Reset” “Reboot” “Detox” & “Cleanse.”
What do they all mean?
How do you know what’s best for you?

We got gabbing and nourishing and I didn’t have time to discuss my final points of how to infuse your New Year’s Resolutions and set yourself up for optimal success.
It seems to me that the reason we set resolutions in the 1st place is because we are looking to put boundaries in place after the holidays. You may be feeling a bit out of control with too much spending, too much indulging and not enough resting. Adding some structure around the places we are seeking alignment is the 1st step to making long lasting changes.
- Move Your Body. Join a fitness class. Do some yoga. Get in the pool. Go to a dance class. Moving your body creates endorphins that help you stay engaged in the game and your eye on the ball and helps move and sweat out the toxins.
- Eat More Whole Foods. Every time you meal plan and create a home cooked meal you are taking steps towards your goals. Regardless of what they are. Food is medicine and it’s so important to follow an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle. Not sure how?
- Hire a coach. There are lots of coaches out there that can help you, whether it’s with a group detox or 1:1 support to go deeper, the accountability to help you find what works best for you is out there. You just gotta be open, willing to ask questions and ready to do the work. If you are interested in hiring a coach, let me know. I have helped many women lose weight, discover their dreams and transform their lives. If I’m not the right coach for you… I know lots of other amazing coaches who could be the perfect fit. Reach out.
- Soak Up the Love & Light. When I arrived at the studio it was dark and cold, but I showed up. I taught. I nourished. When I left it the sun was coming up. It was still cold, but it was so beautiful. I stopped and breathed in the cool, anti-inflammatory air and soaked up the early morning rays. It felt so good to stand in the light. To nourish on a grand scale is my dream. My passion. My WHY for setting goals. Doing things like this on the daily that infuse my spirit help me stay connected to my resolutions. The boost of D3 helps me keep them on the front burner and my immune system strong which sets me up for long term success.
Keep Nourishing Yourself. You deserve to look and feel amazing!
